Because of Thanksgiving I've been off since Thursday (something to be thankful for :)). I get Thanksgiving and the day after off and I took today as a vacation day, just to stretch it out a little bit longer. Cheryl had to work Fri. and Sat. and Andrew and Chris were at their dads, so Ryan and I just kinda hung, ran some errands and stuff. Yesterday, Cheryl was off and it was nice outside so we did some decorating around the yard. Cheryl loaded a bunch of pots with greens, pine and holly branches and stuff and I put up some lights and the big, blow up Santa that Uncle Steven and Aunt Tracey gave us. It looks pretty Christmasy out there now. I lit up the deck rail and the corral fence around the driveway. Later, we went with the Wrays on the New Hope & Ivyland train ride (http://newhoperailroad.com/). It was the "Polar Express" going from New Hope to Buckingham Valley. Along the way we picked up a couple of surprise passengers. Santa and Mrs. Claus. They went through the train and talked to every kid and gave them a little present. Ryan was amazed. It was really cool.
