E.C.S. was a small, very Baptist, private school. Very strict, very religious and lots of rules... dress codes, hair codes, no dances, etc... Their way was THE ONLY way... When I first started there in 7th grade I think I was OK with that. But even before I graduated I was questioning what they were teaching/preaching. Not just religion-wise, but that whole life style or attitude that "This is the only way to be... if you're not or if you disagree, you're wrong". Thank goodness I went out and expanded my horizons. Not everything I've done was "good", but everything I've done has made me who I am now, and I'm pretty happy with that.
Anyway, got a little side tracked there... I think I'll be looking forward to the reunion. Ya know... Show off my wife... show off the kids... see how everybody's doin'. I spent a lot of time with my class and I guess part of me wonders "What's UP!?!?"

me, 1986. It doesn't get much cooler than that.
