Cars

Went and saw the movie "CARS" today. First let me say that Ryan has been wanting, and we've been buying stuff from this movie for months. Long before it was even released, it's toys, candy, clothes, temporary tattoos, keychains and you name it were in the stores and on Ryan's list. Finally we get a chance to see it and personally I thought it pretty much sucked. But... that's just me. It might not've been exactly aimed at my age group so, lets see... Christopher went, he's 13, he said... "Eh, It was ok I guess. Nothing really happened." I agree. Ryan went, he's 3, about 45 min into it he's getting squirmy in his seat. Halfway thru, "I have to go to the bathroom." We go. 15 minutes later, "I want to go home." Again, I agree. Somewhere around 10, maybe 15 minutes before the end, I'm having a hard time keeping him in his seat, quiet and still. I noticed alot of that going around in the theatre. So there's 3 age groups. They had to be aiming somewhere close to one of 'em... I think they missed.

Maybe it's more of a NASCAR thing, cuz we went to see Cars yesterday and we all liked it. Marley started getting antsy about 15 mins before the end, but for the most part, she liked it.
Okay, I'm writing this and have to say, I can't remember the last time I heard "Shout at the Devil"...too funny.

I would agree about the NASCAR thing if there was a little more actual racing going on...NOT that I'm a NASCAR fan (but thats a whole other story).. there were what? 2 races. Beginning and end of the movie... All I remember is story about a red car trying for days to pave some broken up road...ZZZzzzZZZzzz
