The Halloween haunted garage "The Witch's Lair" was an awesome success. Lots of kids came and it actually became a hang out spot. The layout went something like this....

  • You entered into the witch's woods and were greeted by the witch herself.
  • Then down a long, pitch black, dead end hall to find Cheryl in her cell. She warns you about the witch and tells you to go back the way you came and find the right door out of the woods.
  • then into a creepy strobe lit room with a swinging witch.
  • next, down a spider web (and spider) infested hall where a ghostly skeleton jumps at you at the end
  • then you came to the "Skeleton Dr" in his "lab" trying to get "flesh for his bones!!!"
  • next out a false door that led to a goblin.
  • then back to the real door that led into the last room inhabited by a were-wolf.
  • as you run out of there, you find me. 9ft tall with long groping arms reaching to drag you away!!!!

I think everybody really liked it. Even the older kids who were "too cool" seemed to hang around for a while. Parents were laughing and little kids were crying.

This weekend we're watching a dog for a friend of mine from work. He's a 5 mo. old yellow lab. "Buddy". Ryan and Chris are having a blast. Buddy's all play. Loki and the cats are not having so much fun. Loki is getting old and not so much into the "play" as Buddy. The cats are holding their own tho, swatting away when he comes near.

after a lick

"a little to the right"

on "red alert"
