Tooo Hot!!!!!

Holy heat wave Batman... It was wayyy hot today, 98 but feeling like 105. At work we were putting in pipe and building drain inlets, which means moving stone and mixing concrete (by hand). When I got home I went in the pool with Ryan. Our big pool is history. I got tired of messing with it. It's one of those ones with the blow up ring around the top and last week while I was vacuuming it, it collapsed.... again. Last year we had problems with it too, before I got the ground perfectly level. It's the biggest one of those kinds that you can get... 18' x 48", and the ground has to be pretty darn level... Anyway, once we gave up on that one we went a got Ryan a good size kiddie pool (about the size of a hot tub). So, we were splashing around in it today.

Later, we found a cicada just coming out of it's shell. We took it to the porch and watched it finish and start drying off it wings. It was pretty cool.

Cheryl and I were both supposed Sat. so we aranged for Ryan to stay with the Wrays Fri. nite. My work got cancelled, but they are still going to keep him, so we are thinking about going to see a movie. I don't know what we'll see but I'll post a review :)
