Duck and Co. update

Well, Eggy (our surviving duck) and his new penmates (3 chickens) seem to be doing a little better than at first. In the beginning, the chickens didn't want anything to do with him. They would even chase him away. I don't think he really cared, because he didn't seem that interested in them either. Now, the chickens still keep mostly to themselves, but at least Eggy can walk around with them or cut through the group if he wants. I think he finally let them know who is running the show out there. A few days ago when they were getting into his "space", I saw him bite one of the smaller ones right in the a$$ and he gave the bigger one a shot to the head with his wing. So I guess they've got the "pecking order" figured out. Still no eggs from the chickens tho...
